This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Geltenschuss, starting at an elevation of 1383 meters and reaching a peak of 1908 meters. The total distance of the hike is 6.176 kilometers with an elevation gain of 524 meters, making it a moderate level hike.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the picturesque Lauenensee parking lot, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. The trail will then lead you to Ob der Ledi, an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Continuing on, at approximately 3 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the stunning Geltenschuss waterfall. This is a great spot to take a break, enjoy the views, and maybe even snap some photos.

Further along the route, you will encounter several more waterfalls including Tungelschuss, as well as the Mattenstübli Beizli restaurant where you can refuel with some local cuisine.

As you approach the endpoint of the hike at Geltenschuss, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape from the Wasserfall viewpoint. Finally, at Legerlibrügg Lauenensee, you can gather more information about the area before heading back the way you came.
