This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Costalta NE area, offering stunning views and a moderately challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is approximately 4.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 334 meters, taking around 1 hour and 52 minutes to complete.

Starting your hike, you will come across the historic Wayside Shrine of Cros de Costalta, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will find La Casara, a shelter offering a great resting spot around the midway point of the hike. Along the trail, you'll also encounter various natural landmarks such as Dosso di Costalta peak at 1.31 kilometers from the start, Pianon saddle at 1.76 kilometers, and the peak at 2.25 kilometers.

For sustenance, there are several drinking water spots available, including Acqua de la Canela spring at 0.53 kilometers and Fontane Frede spring at 1.76 kilometers. Additionally, be sure to replenish your water bottle at the drinking water point located 0.5 kilometers from the start.
