Hiking : Fort Stanton Mesa

This hiking route takes you to the beautiful Fort Stanton Mesa area. The trail is approximately 3 kilometers long with no elevation gain, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your car here before embarking on the hike. Along the way, at around 1.23 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source where you can refill your bottles and stay hydrated.

One of the highlights of the hike is reaching Fort Stanton Mesa, a peak located 1.5 kilometers from the start. Take some time to enjoy the panoramic views from this vantage point before heading back the way you came.
