This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Route Forestiere. With a distance of 4.545 kilometers and an elevation gain of 569 meters, this trail offers a moderate to difficult level of difficulty.

As you embark on the journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Le Tiocan, an alpine hut where you can rest and take in the surrounding views. Close by, there is also the Parking du Tiocan, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter two water points at around 2.27 kilometers into the hike. These are perfect spots to refill your water bottle and take a break. Further along, at 1.05 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a striking rock formation that adds to the scenic beauty of the route.

Throughout the hike, you will also find various amenities such as the Tiocan viewpoint, information points, a bar called Buvette du Tiocan, and several picnic sites. These spots provide opportunities to learn more about the area, grab a refreshing drink, or enjoy a meal while taking in the surroundings.

It is recommended to bring an ample supply of water, especially on hot days, and to check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure. With a duration of approximately 2 hours and 28 minutes, this out-and-back trail will challenge you physically while rewarding you with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
