This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the magnificent Große Windschar - Cima del Vento peak in the region. The total distance of the hike is 15.033 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1370.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area nearby, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Approximately 2.52 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Huberalm - Malga Huber alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
Along the way, you will encounter several water sources, providing you with opportunities to refill your water bottles and stay hydrated. There is also a saddle called Grub Scharte around the 6.46-kilometer mark, offering a scenic spot to rest and take in the panoramic views.
As you continue further, you will reach a drinking water point about 0.08 kilometers from the start, ensuring you have access to clean water throughout your hike. The endpoint of the trail is the Große Windschar - Cima del Vento peak, standing tall at 7.52 kilometers from the start.
