This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding the Hochrautalm. The trail is 2.989 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 187 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration for this hike is 1 hour and 9 minutes.

Starting at Wanderparkplatz Mudler Hof, you will find parking facilities right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, approximately 0.08 kilometers from the start, you will come across a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

About 1.49 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Hochrautalm, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can stop for a meal or snack. This is a great spot to refuel and take in the mountain views before heading back.

Along the trail, at a distance of 0.11 kilometers from the start, you will find Berggasthaus Mudler, another restaurant where you can take a break if needed. Please note that this establishment is closed on Tuesdays.

Before embarking on this hike, be sure to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast. The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point at Wanderparkplatz Mudler Hof.
