This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you through the breathtaking area surrounding Ütia Fojedöra. With a total distance of 11.711 kilometers and an elevation gain of 934 meters, this hike is sure to test your endurance and offer stunning views along the way.
Starting at Berggasthof Trattes, you will make your way through the picturesque landscape, passing by a picnic site at 1.37 kilometers from the start where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail at 3.8 kilometers, you will come across Jägerhütte, a wilderness hut that offers a cozy spot to rest and refuel before continuing on.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 4.76 kilometers, you will reach Lapedures-Scharte, a saddle that provides a perfect spot to take in the panoramic views of the area. As you make your way back, be sure to stop by Ütia Fojedöra at 5.86 kilometers, a restaurant and alpine hut where you can indulge in some delicious local cuisine.
