This challenging hike takes you through the beautiful alpine landscape near Ütia Fojedöra. With a distance of 11.7 kilometers and an elevation gain of 934 meters, this route is definitely for experienced hikers looking for a workout.
You will start your journey at a parking area right at the trailhead. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Jägerhütte wilderness hut, perfect for a rest stop around the 3.8 kilometer mark. Continuing on, you'll pass by the Berggasthof Trattes restaurant at the beginning of the hike, a great spot to fuel up before tackling the rest of the route.
Around 1.4 kilometers in, you'll find a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. Further along, at the 4.1 kilometer mark, you'll encounter a historic wayside cross, adding a touch of culture to your hike.
As you approach the turnaround point, you'll reach Ütia Fojedöra, an alpine hut perfect for a well-deserved break before heading back.
