This hiking route takes you through the beautiful alpine landscape of Triglav National Park, with stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 15.78 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1528 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous hike.
Your journey starts at the trailhead where you'll find parking available with no fee. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across an information point providing insights about the area. About 7.84 kilometers into the hike, you'll find an alpine hut where you can take a break and rest before continuing on.
Further along the trail, at around 5.06 kilometers from the start, you'll find a natural spring providing fresh drinking water to replenish your supplies. As you continue, you'll reach a saddle called Ledeniški preval, located at 7.89 kilometers from the start, offering a unique natural viewpoint.
Near the end of the route, at 7.89 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter another information point and an alpine hut called Triglavski dom na Kredarici, a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the panoramic views around you.
