This hiking route in the Lipnica area offers a challenging trek with a total distance of 9.132 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1510 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers. The estimated duration for the hike is about 5 hours and 53 minutes.

Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, hikers will first come across an information point providing details about the surroundings. The trail meanders through the picturesque landscape, with the first point of interest being the Vrsica Pass memorial and wayside cross, located about 0.2 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on the trail, midway through the hike, you will reach a refreshing drinking water point, located right on the trail for your convenience. Further along, at 1.6 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Slap Kačji graben waterfall, providing a peaceful and scenic spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

The challenging ascent will take you past the Špik peak and the Lipnica peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. The Lipnica peak itself is located at around 4.57 kilometers from the starting point and marks the turnaround point for this out-and-back route.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike due to its difficulty level. Proper hiking gear and footwear are also essential for a safe and enjoyable experience on this demanding trail.
