This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Puig d'Aguilera. The trail is 6.273 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 209 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, starting and ending at the same point.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the adventure. After a short distance, you will come across Bar-Restaurant Jordi, a great spot to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing drink before continuing on your journey.
Along the trail, you will also encounter a water source at a distance of 0.04 kilometers from the starting point, providing a perfect opportunity to refill your water bottles. As you progress further, you will reach the Mirador d'Aguilera at 3.06 kilometers from the start, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The trail will lead you to Puig d'Aguilera, a peak located 3.14 kilometers from the start, providing a rewarding destination for your hike. Nearby, you will find Puig Rabat and Puig de Formatge, two more peaks offering breathtaking views of the area.
Before heading back, make sure to stop by Bar del Pavelló, located at the starting point, for a well-deserved break. Throughout the hike, you may also come across historic ruins such as barraca de pedra seca 18655, barraca de pedra seca14917, barraca de pedra seca 14947, and barraca de pedra seca 14920, adding a touch of history to your outdoor adventure.
