The Via Verde del Serpis is an extremely difficult hiking route that spans 24.785 kilometers with an elevation gain of 958 meters. This out-and-back trail will take approximately 8 hours and 7 minutes to complete. The trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural scenery.
As you embark on your journey, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Font Pudenta, a natural spring located 8.35 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottles and take a refreshing break.
Further along the trail, at the 11.38 kilometer mark, you will come across Cova de les Rates, a cave entrance that provides a unique opportunity to explore and admire the natural wonders of the area.
Throughout the hike, you will also encounter several water sources, such as rivers and streams, which will offer opportunities to rest and enjoy the peaceful sound of flowing water. It's essential to stay hydrated during your journey, so be sure to bring an adequate supply of water with you.
Additionally, there are ruins located 5.02 kilometers from the start, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past. These ruins provide an intriguing insight into the cultural heritage of the region.
