This hiking route takes you through the stunning landscapes of the area surrounding Refuge de Prariond. The trail is 5.815 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 247 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will make your way towards the first point of interest, the Tragédie de la Galise memorial, located 2.2 kilometers from the start of the trail. This memorial serves as a reminder of the area's history and is a poignant spot to pause and reflect.

Continuing on, at the 1.97 kilometer mark from the start, you will encounter a beautiful waterfall that is slightly off the main trail. While it may require a slight detour, the sight and sound of the waterfall are well worth the visit.

Midway through your hike, at a distance of 2.91 kilometers from the start, you will reach Refuge de Prariond, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before heading back. This is a great spot to take in the surrounding mountain views and enjoy a well-deserved break.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps back to the parking area once you have visited all the points of interest.
