Welcome to the Vía Interoceánica hiking route!

Located in a beautiful area, this easy 2.07 km out-and-back trail offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

As you start your journey, you'll come across a convenient parking area right at the trailhead. Make sure to park your vehicle here before setting off. Further along the trail, at around 0.76 km, you'll find Casa Bar, an alpine hut where you can take a break and relax.

Continuing on, at the 1 km mark, there is a lovely picnic site where you can enjoy a peaceful meal surrounded by nature. A bit further, you'll find Bazar y Cafetería Los Cimarrones, a great spot to grab a snack or refreshment.

During the hike, make sure to visit the viewpoint at 1.03 km, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. Additionally, there is an interesting monument called Columnas and an artwork named Mandala del Parque, both located at the same distance point.

For art lovers, there is another artwork called "Inducción cromática ecuatoriana" at the 1.03 km mark, providing a unique cultural experience.

Although the trail is relatively short and easy, it's essential to bring an ample water supply, especially on warm days. Check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a pleasant hiking experience.
