This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Avenida Simón Bolívar. The 3.125-kilometer circular trail offers a relatively easy hike with a total elevation gain of 37 meters.

Along the way, you will come across some points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Parqueadero Ashintaco parking area, which is perfect for leaving your vehicle before starting the hike. Further along the trail, about midway through, you will encounter the Mirador 5 Cayambe viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. At around 1.48 kilometers from the start, you will also find another viewpoint to enjoy.
