This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Große Schlicke. The trail is 13.486 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1137 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 5 hours and 57 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Vilser Alm restaurant, situated 3.15 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a meal or snack before continuing on your adventure. Further along the trail, at 2.13 kilometers from the start, you will find a refreshing water source.

Halfway through the hike, at 6.74 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach the breathtaking viewpoint of Große Schlicke. Take a moment to admire the stunning scenery before continuing on towards Vilser Scharte, located at 5.74 kilometers from the start.

Throughout the trail, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Alpstrudelfall waterfall (2.09 km from start), and the Kleine Schlicke peak (6.24 km from start). Remember to stay hydrated and carry enough water for the journey, as well as checking the weather forecast before setting out.
