This hiking route in the Weinleite area offers a super easy trek with a distance of 1.558 kilometers and an elevation gain of 77 meters. The trail is a circular route, starting and ending at the Waldparkplatz Gohrischstein parking area.

As you embark on this scenic hike, you will encounter various points of interest along the way. About halfway through the trail at 0.5 kilometers, you will find the Große Hunskirche, a peak offering spectacular views. Nearby, at the same distance, is the Kleine Hunskirche, another peak worth exploring.

Continuing on, at 0.41 kilometers, you will reach the Papststein, a natural peak perfect for a brief stop to admire the surroundings. Additionally, at this point, you'll find the Papst, ideal for rock climbing enthusiasts looking for a challenge.

Throughout the hike, there are several viewpoints offering stunning panoramas of the Elbsandsteingebirge. One notable viewpoint is the Hunskirchenblick, located at 0.31 kilometers from the start.

If you fancy a meal or a break, the Berggaststätte Papststein restaurant is conveniently situated 0.41 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. It offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious meals to refuel before continuing your trek.

As you near the end of the hike, at 0.73 kilometers, you'll come across benches and picnic sites where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
