This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Doppelturm area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the hike is approximately 3.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 277 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level.
Starting at Parkplatz Holzlagerplatzweg, you will embark on your adventure with ample parking available. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by Klimmerstein, a peak located 1.36 kilometers from the start, followed by Westlicher Rauschenturm, Rauschentorwächter, and Schützelkopf, all offering great climbing opportunities.
Further along the trail, at about 1.8 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter called Boofe unterh. d. Rauschengrundverschneidung, providing a resting spot for hikers. Continuing on, you will come across various peaks such as Bergkristall, Doppelturm, Nachbar, and Rauschenkuppe.
For information and rest stops, you will find Bergungsbox am Rauschentor, a helpful information point about 1.23 kilometers from the start, and benches like the one at Nordöstlicher Wachturm to take in the scenery.
