Welcome to the Ungerberg hiking route! This super easy circular trail covers a distance of approximately 0.57 kilometers with no elevation gain.
Ungerberg is a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. As you start your hike, you'll come across some interesting points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your adventure.
Further along the route, at about 0.02 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Grillpavillion where you can take a break and enjoy a picnic. As you continue, you'll also come across a water source at 0.21 kilometers from the start, perfect for refilling your water bottle.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Prinz-Georg-Turm (Ungerturm) viewpoint located at 0.24 kilometers from the start. Here, you can catch breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
At the midpoint of the trail, you'll find the Ausflugsgaststätte & Pension Ungerberg, a cozy restaurant where you can grab a meal or refreshments before continuing your hike. Near the restaurant, there is also a memorial dedicated to Julius Missbach, adding a touch of historical significance to your journey.
As you make your way back to the starting point, you'll pass by benches where you can rest and relax. Additionally, there are information points scattered along the trail to provide you with insights into the local area and its surroundings.
