This hiking route takes you to the magnificent Big Beehive in the Lake Louise area. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 10.611 kilometers with an elevation gain of 521 meters, making it a difficult hike that takes approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete.

You'll start your journey at the Lake Louise parking lot, which is wheelchair accessible and just 0.06 kilometers away from the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, you'll pass by the charming Lake Agnes Tea House, 3.67 kilometers into the hike, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.

Further along the trail, you'll come across the picturesque Lake Agnes, located 4.02 kilometers from the start, and Mirror Lake at the 3.07-kilometer mark. These stunning water bodies offer a serene backdrop for a rest stop or a photo opportunity.

At the halfway point, approximately 5.31 kilometers from the start, you'll find Shelter Rempart, providing a refuge for weary hikers. Additionally, the Chateau Deli and Lakeview Lounge are nearby, offering dining options to refuel before continuing your journey.
