This hiking route takes you through the beautiful Gantrisch area, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is approximately 7.1 kilometers with an elevation gain of 564 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. Continuing onwards, roughly 2.95 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Klettersteig Gantrisch, a via ferrata for the adventurous climbers.
Along the way, at about 1.44 kilometers from the start, you will reach Obernünene, a restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. You will also find an information point and a drinking water station nearby to keep you hydrated.
As you approach the peak of Gantrisch at 3.5 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Take a moment to soak in the beauty before heading towards the Leiterepass saddle at 2.64 kilometers from the start.
During your descent, you will pass by the Gürbefall waterfall at 0.96 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of serene beauty to your hike.
