The Hochalbpfad trail is a moderate 5.241-kilometer out-and-back hiking route with an elevation gain of 263 meters, located in a picturesque area. As you start your hike, you'll come across the Tambour parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your adventure.
Along the trail, at around 2.5 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Befestigungswall mit Graben, an archaeological site showcasing ancient fortifications. Further on, at about 2.62 kilometers, you'll find the Hofruine ruins, offering a glimpse into the area's historic past.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the various viewpoints along the trail, such as the one at 1.77 kilometers with a clear view of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, there are benches scattered throughout the route, providing opportunities to rest and take in the beautiful scenery.
