The Sommersteigweg trail is located in a beautiful area with lush greenery and stunning viewpoints. This out-and-back route is super easy, making it perfect for hikers of all levels. The trail covers a distance of approximately 1.852 kilometers with an elevation gain of 38 meters.

As you start your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Around 0.08 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery. Further along, at around 0.59 kilometers, there is another bench for you to rest at.

At the 0.8-kilometer mark, there is an information point where you can learn more about the surrounding area. Just a bit further at the same distance, you'll find another bench to sit and relax.

Around 0.93 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Geo-Weg-Station 8 and a viewpoint where you can take in breathtaking views of the landscape. Additionally, there are informational points labeled "Hörnle" and "Am Hörnle" at 0.89 kilometers and 0.8 kilometers, respectively.

Before setting out on the Sommersteigweg trail, ensure you bring an ample water supply and check the weather forecast. With its easy terrain and various points of interest along the way, this hike promises a delightful outdoor experience for nature enthusiasts.
