This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the Cabane de Barlonguere in the beautiful area of Camin du Mount Valier and Bordes-Uchentein. The trail spans a distance of 14.183 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1306 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding adventure.
Starting off the hike, you will pass by La Maison du Valier, a charming restaurant situated just 0.31 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you will come across the Réserve domaniale du Mont Vallier, a stunning viewpoint just 0.07 kilometers into the hike. Be sure to take a moment to enjoy the breathtaking views this spot has to offer.
Midway through the hike at 7.09 kilometers from the start, you will find the Cabane de Barlonguere - castillonais wilderness hut.
