This hiking route takes you to the stunning Cabane CAS du Mont d'Or in the beautiful area of Vallorbe. The trail is 8.958 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 578 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 31 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you'll come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking facilities for your convenience. Further along, you'll encounter a fountain and benches where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Vallorbe Gare information point, where you can learn more about the area. As you continue on, you'll pass by another fountain and some more benches to rest and take in the views.

Near the end of the trail, you'll find the Cabane CAS du Mont d'Or, an alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved rest and enjoy some refreshments. There is also a restaurant, Buffet de la Gare, nearby for you to grab a meal before heading back.
