This challenging hiking route will take you on a scenic journey to the Cabane CAS du Mont d'Or in the beautiful area of Vallorbe.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 0.69 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Buffet de la Gare restaurant, a perfect spot to grab a meal before or after your hike.

As you continue upwards, approximately 4.25 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a lovely water feature, providing a serene setting to rest and take in the surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 2.59 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint where you can stop and enjoy panoramic views of the area.

The route is approximately 8.958 kilometers in length with an elevation gain of 578 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
