This hiking route will take you through the scenic area near Kaserwand. The route is a circular one with a total distance of 5.688 kilometers and an elevation gain of 568 meters, making it a difficult hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across "Himmelmoos" parking area, located 0.13 kilometers from the start of the trail. Continuing on, you will pass by "Kaserwand" peak, which is 2.55 kilometers from the starting point. This peak offers stunning views of the surrounding area and is worth the climb.
Along the way, you will also encounter a beautiful spring located 1.02 kilometers from the start of the trail. If you're interested in caves, there is a cave entrance 2.5 kilometers into the route. Additionally, there is an information point about "Kasererwand" at 2.05 kilometers and another one at 2.49 kilometers.
For those interested in climbing, "Kasererwand" offers a great opportunity and is only 2.41 kilometers from the start of the trail. Lastly, you will come across a memorial dedicated to Helmut Madersbacher, located at 2.55 kilometers from the start.
