Welcome to the hiking route to Wildbarren! This challenging 4.355-kilometer out-and-back trail offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.
The trail starts at the parking lot of Kiesgrube Haslachgraben, where you can find drinking water available for hikers. As you begin your journey, you'll pass by the Felix Alm information point about 1.06 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail, at 1.48 kilometers, you'll come across a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.
At the 2.18-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Wildbarren peak, offering panoramic views of the area. Nearby, you'll find the Wildbarrenhöhle cave entrance and the Stempelstelle Wildbarren information point. As you make your way back, don't miss the viewpoint at 1.83 kilometers, offering another perspective of the landscape.
With an elevation gain of 531 meters, this hike is considered difficult and is suitable for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
