This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area surrounding Krummbachstein. The trail is 13.233 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1036 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 39 minutes to complete.
As you start the hike, you will come across the Kaiserbrunnen spring located just 0.05 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at the 4.95 kilometer mark, you will find the Naturfreundehaus Knofeleben alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding views.
Halfway through the hike, at the 6.6 kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Krummbachstein, offering stunning panoramic views of the area. Continuing on, at the 5.98 kilometer mark, you will encounter the Paschekrast bench, a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery.
Along the trail, you will also find various amenities such as the Alpenfreundehütte alpine hut at the 6.44 kilometer mark and the am Wasserwerk restaurant located at the start of the trail. Be sure to bring enough water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as this is a challenging hike with varying terrain.
