This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through a stunning area with a total distance of 24.821 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1633 meters.
Starting off, you will come across a parking area at 9.14 kilometers from the beginning, followed by another parking spot at 9.2 kilometers. Make sure to check the parking availability before embarking on this challenging journey.
As you continue on the trail, you will reach a restaurant called Hotel Engstlenalp at 9.27 kilometers from the start. This could be a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing your hike.
Further along the trail at 3.34 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a natural saddle known as Sätteli 2116. This natural formation is a great photo spot and offers incredible views of the surrounding landscape.
At around 5.25 kilometers from the start, you will find an information center providing insights about the area. This could be a good opportunity to learn more about the local flora, fauna, and history of the region.
