This challenging 11.1-kilometer hiking route will take you to the stunning peak of Viezzena. The trail starts at a parking area located right at the beginning of the hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take an estimated 5 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across Fiemme Village, a campsite that is perfect for a rest stop. Further along the route, at a distance of 2.91 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Bait shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the Viezzena peak, located 5.55 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. The elevation gain of 1109 meters makes this a challenging but rewarding hike for experienced hikers.
Le Pezze peak is another point of interest along the trail, located at a distance of 4.93 kilometers from the start. As you make your way back, you'll pass by the Viezzena shelter, located right on the trail for a final rest before completing the hike.
Before embarking on this adventure, be sure to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. The difficult rating of this hike is due to its length and elevation gain, so be prepared for a strenuous but unforgettable journey to the Viezzena peak.
