Welcome to the Canal de Lebaniego - Cabrales hiking route!
Located in a picturesque area, this 10.775-kilometer long trail offers stunning views and a challenging trek for hikers. With an elevation gain of 877 meters, this route is rated as Difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you'll pass by convenient parking spots and eateries, perfect for fueling up before hitting the trail. Approximately 1.07 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Fuente Resalau spring, a refreshing stop to replenish your water supply.
As you make your way along the trail, at 3.58 kilometers in, you'll reach the peak of Cueto de Juan de la Cuadra offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Further along, at 5.22 kilometers, you'll encounter the saddle known as Horcada del Lebaniego, providing a perfect resting spot to catch your breath.
At the 5.39-kilometer mark, you'll find La Morra and La Garmona peaks, offering a challenging climb and breathtaking views. Be sure to take your time and admire the natural beauty surrounding you.
