Located in the beautiful region of Gravures rupestres de la vallée des Merveilles and the Mont Bégo, the Chemin de l'Arpette trail offers hikers a moderate challenge with a distance of 6.939 kilometers and an elevation gain of 250 meters. The trail is an out-and-back route, starting and ending at the same point.

As you embark on your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will encounter Lac Long Inférieur, a serene water body perfect for a quick stop to admire the scenery. As you venture further, you will reach Lac Fourca, situated just 0.46 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque setting for a peaceful break.

Midway through the hike, you will reach Lac des Merveilles, a captivating lake located 2.52 kilometers from the start.
