This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Cima Cairas (also known as Le Cayras) in the picturesque area surrounding Cime de Cougourde. The trail covers a total distance of 16.789 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1614 meters, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.

Starting from the trailhead, you will first come across the beautiful Lac de Trécolpas, located at around 4.65 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
