Located in the beautiful countryside, the hike to Monte Bieteron offers a challenging but rewarding experience for hiking enthusiasts. Covering a distance of approximately 7.083 kilometers and with an elevation gain of 826 meters, this route is classified as difficult.
Starting at the trailhead, hikers will pass by various points of interest along the way. About 2.12 kilometers from the start, you will find the tranquil Lago Litteran, a perfect spot to take a rest and enjoy the scenery.
Continuing on, at around 1.57 kilometers in, there is a drinking water point for hikers to refill their water bottles. Further ahead, at 3.0 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Anticima Monte Bieteron peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Papa Giovanni Paolo II memorial at 2.2 kilometers from the start to pay your respects. Additionally, there are several information points scattered throughout the trail, offering valuable insights into the area's history and significance.
