This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Horstig Weg. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.215 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Horstig Alpenheim ruins, adding a historic touch to your hike. Further along the trail, you will find the Berggasthof Steinerhaus, a restaurant located just 0.19 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy a meal.
For those interested in free flying, there are two spots along the route - the Drachenrampe and the Startplatz Paragleiter, both offering stunning views and opportunities for paragliding enthusiasts.
As you continue on the trail, you will also come across the Roseggerdenkmal memorial and several information points providing details about the area and hiking trails. Be sure to stop by the benches scattered along the route to take in the scenery and rest if needed.
