This hiking route takes you to the breathtaking Mittagskofel peak in an area characterized by stunning natural beauty. The trail is 14.578 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1328 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that requires a good level of fitness and stamina.

Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Mittagskofel. Along the way, at approximately 1.54 kilometers from the start, you will come across the charming biergarten, Steineckenalm, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments during the summer months.

Continuing on, at around 0.83 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can rest and take in the surrounding views. As you approach the peak, at 7.29 kilometers from the start, you will reach Mittagskofel, the highest point of the hike offering panoramic views of the area.

On your way back, you can stop by Gasthaus Wilhelmer, a restaurant located approximately 0.15 kilometers from the start, to refuel and relax before completing the hike. Additionally, along the trail, you will find Fremdenverkehrsverein Lesachtal, an information center where you can learn more about the area.
