This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Lac des Ottans. The trail is 9.837 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 641 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by a convenient parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. About 2.25 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the picturesque Lac de Salanfe, a beautiful spot to take in the scenery and maybe even have a picnic by the water.

Continuing on, at around 4.92 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Lac des Ottans, the final destination of the route. This serene lake is a perfect place to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Along the way, you'll also encounter various points of interest such as viewpoints offering stunning vistas of the landscape. Be sure to check out Fontaine de Moïse and La fontaine des bouquetins, adding to the charm of the hike.
