This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through a rugged and challenging terrain, covering a distance of 17.703 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1485 meters. The total duration of this hike is estimated to be around 7 hours and 48 minutes.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across an ancient ruins site located approximately 3.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you will pass by a parking area situated right at the start of the route, making it convenient for hikers to access the trailhead.
Midway through the hike, at a distance of 8.85 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning peak known as Pico Frontó, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty. Don't forget to capture the breathtaking scenery from this vantage point.
