Welcome to the hiking route to Steirische Kalkspitze, a challenging 11.88 km circular trail with an elevation gain of 1020 meters, expected to take around 5 hours and 18 minutes to complete. The trail starts and ends at the parking area, with the option to visit Ursprungalm restaurant before or after your hike.

As you embark on your journey, you'll pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find a picturesque water spot, 0.17 km from the start. As you continue, 0.33 km into the hike, you'll reach Ursprungalm where you can refuel and relax before tackling the more strenuous sections.

Further along the trail, at around 2.54 km, you'll encounter informative signage providing insights into the area and its surroundings. Benches are strategically placed along the route for hikers to take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Notable stops include Giglachsee Hütte at 2.63 km, and Znachsattel at 3.25 km.

The highlight of the hike is reaching Steirische Kalkspitze at 5.49 km, a peak offering spectacular panoramic views that make the effort worthwhile. Along the way back, you'll also pass by Akarscharte at 5.04 km and other informational spots.
