This hiking route is a 5.015-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 143 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. The estimated duration for completing this hike is about 1 hour and 31 minutes.
The trail starts at P4 parking lot where you can leave your vehicle for free. As you begin your trek, 0.2 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the quaint Dicktlerhütte restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat or drink.
Continuing on, at around 1.03 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a beautiful waterfall, a perfect spot to take in the sights and sounds of nature. Further along, at 2.45 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a natural water source for you to replenish your water supply.
Around the halfway point, at 2.51 kilometers, there are two more water sources and a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, P5, if needed.
As you make your way back, be sure to stop at the Ausblick Granier Wasserfall viewpoint and the Glücksplatzl viewpoint for some breathtaking views of the surroundings.
Throughout the trail, you'll also come across various benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the serenity of the area. Additionally, there are informational points and a historic wayside shrine, Kapelle Seekreuz, to learn more about the area's history and significance.
