This extremely difficult hiking route covers a distance of 22.729 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1692 meters. The estimated duration for this challenging hike is around 9 hours and 29 minutes.

The hike begins at a parking area located at the start of the trail. As you start your journey, you will come across a fountain just 0.06 kilometers into the hike. It is advisable to carry enough water for the trip as the route is long and strenuous.

Along the trail, at a distance of 5.97 kilometers from the start, you will find the peak known as Blosen. This is a great spot to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further ahead, at 8.51 kilometers from the start, there is a natural water source where you can refill your water supplies.

As you continue on, at around 11.26 to 11.36 kilometers from the start, there are multiple water sources located close to the trail. These can be helpful for a quick rest and refuel. Additionally, at 8.55 kilometers from the start, you will find a restaurant called Alpengasthof Grobbauer, where you can stop for a meal and relax.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various informational points, viewpoints, and historic landmarks. Remember to stay hydrated, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
