This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to the majestic Roche Charniere in a beautiful area.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by Le Ponteil, a popular climbing spot located just 0.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue on, you will come across a parking area at 0.03 kilometers, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike.

The highlight of the route is the Roche Charniere peak, situated 6.64 kilometers from the start of the trail. This natural wonder offers breathtaking views and is a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

With a total distance of 13.279 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1017.0 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper gear. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
