Welcome to La Rue des Masques hiking route! This scenic trail offers a 2.348 kilometers round trip with an elevation gain of 101 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
The trail starts at a convenient parking area, located right at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the path, you'll encounter several points of interest. At around 0.16 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a wayside cross, providing a glimpse into the area's historic past.
Continuing on, about 0.33 kilometers in, a stunning viewpoint awaits to offer breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings. As you reach the 1.01-kilometer mark, two more viewpoints can be found, perfect for resting and soaking in the beauty of the landscape.
Around 1.17 kilometers into the hike, you'll discover a rock formation at a distance of 131.5 meters from the trail, adding a natural touch to the scenery. Additionally, a waterfall, located at the same distance from the trail, offers a serene spot to pause and appreciate the wonders of nature.
Throughout the hike, informative signs are scattered along the path, providing valuable insights about the area. Look out for the Gaboyer and Plateau de la Chalp informational points at distances of 0.55 and 0.88 kilometers from the start, respectively.
