Welcome to the Bräunerweg hiking route! This scenic trail offers a 2.694-kilometer circular hike with an elevation gain of 199 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable hike for all levels of hikers. The route takes approximately 1 hour and 7 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at the Bärenschützklamm parking area, where you can find the Gasthaus zur Bärenschützklamm and Jausenstation Grassauer nearby for a quick bite before your adventure. These establishments are located just 0.07 kilometers from the start of the trail, making them perfect pit stops at the beginning or end of your hike.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. About 0.3 kilometers from the start, you'll find a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply. Further along, at 0.52 kilometers from the start, don't miss the Bärenloch cave entrance, offering a unique natural attraction.

At around 1.23 kilometers into the hike, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Nadelspitz peak, located off the trail. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the trail, you'll also encounter benches, viewpoints, and even a memorial, providing opportunities to rest, take in the scenery, and learn about the area's history and natural features. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this adventure.
