Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, hikers will embark on a circular route that covers a distance of 7.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 725 meters.

As you begin the hike, you'll come across an information point about the area after just 2 kilometers. Further along the trail, at the 3-kilometer mark, you'll find another information point as well as the Zavetišče v Hudičevem borštu alpine hut, which offers a place to rest and refuel. Continuing on, hikers will pass by a bench and a drinking water station, providing opportunities to take a break and stay hydrated. At the 6-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Zaplata takeoff site, a spot popular for free-flying activities. Make sure to take in the views before heading back towards the starting point.
