This hike takes you on a 9.3-kilometer out-and-back route to the beautiful destination of Sterneck. The trail offers stunning views and a total elevation gain of 581 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.

Starting from the trailhead, you'll pass by a convenient parking area at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, be sure to keep an eye out for the wayside cross located at around 2.6 kilometers from the start. This historic point of interest adds a cultural touch to the natural beauty of the area.

About halfway through the hike, at 4.2 kilometers from the start, you'll find a viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to rest on one of the benches located nearby and soak in the scenery.

Continuing on, you'll reach two peaks, Sternplatte and Sterneck, located at 4.02 and 4.66 kilometers from the start, respectively. These natural landmarks provide the perfect opportunity to capture some stunning photos and enjoy a well-deserved break before heading back.

On your way back, stop by the Tregler Alm restaurant located at 2.55 kilometers from the start. Here, you can refuel with some delicious food and beverages before completing the hike.
