The Chemin de Halage hiking route offers a moderate level of difficulty, spanning a distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers with no significant elevation gain. The trail takes you through a picturesque area with stunning natural landscapes.

At the beginning of the hike, you will find a convenient parking area located just 4.5 meters from the trailhead. As you proceed along the route, you will encounter various points of interest. At around 2.4 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Écluse de Lalande, a beautiful water feature that adds to the scenic beauty of the trail.

Continuing on, at approximately 2.6 kilometers, you will find another charming spot, the Écluse d'Herminis. This location offers a serene atmosphere perfect for a short rest before you turn back.

Near the end of the trail, at around 2.7 kilometers, you will come across Eau potable, a drinking water spot where you can refill your water bottles.

For a post-hike meal, Restaurant La Rive Belle is conveniently located just 2.7 kilometers away from the trailhead.
