This hiking route is located in a scenic area with a total distance of 1.22 kilometers and an elevation gain of 67 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for beginners. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 26 minutes.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will first pass by Acebedo Mini Fast Food, a restaurant located just 0.1 kilometers from the start. As you continue along the trail, about 0.42 kilometers in, you will come across the Japanese Bunker, a historic ruins site that is worth exploring.

Along the way, you will also encounter several parking spaces for convenience. At 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will find the UP Oblation monument and at 0.4 kilometers, the Lower Viewdeck offering a scenic viewpoint. Make sure to take in the breathtaking views as you hike further to the Upper Viewdeck at 0.61 kilometers.

For sustenance, there are various dining options nearby including Alberto's Pizza, E & L Goto Stuff ATBP., and Fredo's Eatery. Remember to bring water and snacks for the hike, especially if you plan to visit the Hill 522 peak at 0.61 kilometers, which is slightly off the main trail.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps back to the trailhead. Before embarking on the hike, ensure to check the weather forecast and wear appropriate footwear. Enjoy the scenic views and immerse yourself in nature on this leisurely hike to the Upper Viewdeck.
