Hiking : Pech de Gaouche

This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Pech de Gaouche. The trail is an out-and-back type, spanning a distance of 14.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 353 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.

As you start your journey, you will come across several points of interest along the trail. At the beginning, you will find a convenient parking facility for your vehicle. As you continue, you will find a drinking water station and a bench to rest at around 0.09 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is a BBQ area located 0.04 kilometers from the beginning where you can take a break and enjoy a snack.

Midway through the hike, at around 7.03 kilometers from the start, you will reach the stunning Col de l'Espinas, a natural saddle with breathtaking views. Further along the trail at 7.34 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Pech de Gaouche, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Towards the end of the hike, at 3.51 kilometers from the start, you will discover historic ruins that add a touch of intrigue to the journey. Continuing on, you will find more ruins at 2.03 kilometers from the beginning, each telling a story of the area's past.
