This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Leia River near Bavikhove Leiekant. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of approximately 3.1 kilometers and an easy level of difficulty, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across "Leiemeander t.h.v. Bavikhove Leiekant" - a picturesque bend in the Leia River that is approximately 1.55 kilometers from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to take in the serene beauty of the river and maybe even spot some wildlife.

Along the way, you will also find "Salons Gruuthuse" restaurant, perfect for a pit stop to refuel and rest after your hike. This restaurant is located right by the trail at the beginning of the route.

For those interested in history, about midway through the hike you will come across a memorial site that is 1.45 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to pay your respects and learn about the significance of the area.

Towards the end of the trail, at a distance of 1.16 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench where you can sit and admire the surrounding nature before making your way back.
