Welcome to the hiking route near Hillhead Caravan Club Site - Slappers Hill. This trail offers a scenic and easy hike, perfect for all skill levels. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 3.743 kilometers with an elevation gain of 141 meters.
As you start your journey, you will come across the National Trust - Mansands parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to park your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Further along the trail, at around 0.53 kilometers from the start, you will find a beautiful water feature that offers a serene atmosphere for a quick break.
Continuing on, at approximately 1.87 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter another water feature, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. As you proceed, be on the lookout for the peaks located at 1.67 and 1.02 kilometers from the start, although they are not directly on the trail. These peaks offer stunning views of the landscape but require a slight detour to reach them.
